Watch Big Tuskers - Africa’s Last Great Elephants for free

This is the Story of Isilo - King of Kings. What Are “Big Tuskers” or "Supertuskers"? The Last of the Big Tuskers is a cinematic educational documentary exploring the rarest of African elephants, massive animals whose tusks weigh over 100 pounds each. Their tusks can grow so long (over 9-feet) they nearly touch the ground. These elephants are usually older males with exceptional genetics. Once numbering in the hundreds, these “supertuskers” are now on the brink of disappearance. Fewer than two dozen are believed to exist today. They’re considered living legends, almost like the “last giants” of a disappearing world. Their survival, is now a critical conservation priority. At the heart of the film is Isilo, the legendary “King of Kings,” who roamed Tembe Elephant Park. His life, and tragic death at the hands of poachers, becomes a lens through which we explore the global ivory trade, conservation challenges, and humanity’s role in either ending or saving this story. Blending breathtaking visuals, expert insight, and emotional storytelling, the film connects us to the urgent reality: are we are witnessing the possible end of Earth’s last great tuckers? What makes them unique? They’re genetically irreplaceable: Each one carries rare traits that may never appear again. Time is running out: With fewer than two dozen left, every loss is massive. We are witnessing the possible end of a natural phenomenon. These elephants survived decades, only to fall into human greed. Protection works, but must continue: Isilo was poached. These elephants survived decades, only to fall to human greed. There is still a small window to save the remaining giants. Through the perspectives of conservationists, the documentary examines the ecological importance of elephants, the challenges they face, and the efforts underway to protect the last remaining big tuskers. Will we protect the last giants, or watch them disappear?
