August is a brilliant month for young readers, with Children’s Book Week celebrations taking place back-to-back across Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia.
Aotearoa New Zealand Children’s Book Week runs from 15–21 August 2026, inviting tamariki and whānau to go Reading Around Aotearoa! Then, from 22–28 August, Australia’s Children’s Book Week strikes up a Symphony of Stories. That’s two joyful weeks of books, imagination and storytelling, and BeamaKids+ is ready to join the fun!
Taking children's stories beyond the page
