The 2026 academic year is now underway, and schools across New Zealand will again be enjoying access to Beamafilm’s Student Collection - made available through the support of the New Zealand Ministry of Education.

Through the Beamafilm Schools' offering, students and educators around the globe have seamless access to a diverse catalogue comprising hundreds of inspiring and curriculum-aligned videos, educational documentaries, engaging courses, and thought-provoking narratives, designed to complement learning across a wide range of subject areas.

Curated to support classroom engagement, the platform allows teachers to explore content via subject-specific and genre-based collections, making it easy to integrate films into lesson plans, discussions, and assignments.

New for 2026, the collection also includes:

• An exclusive series of up to 30 Skillshare Courses (ChatGPT, Excel, Graphic Design, Learn Guitar, and more), 

• Expansion of the popular student series The World is Yours (5 more seasons), and

• The remarkable new library series, Ngako: The Collections Talk.
