From life on the road in remote Australia and innovative conservation projects, to classic Hollywood romance, wartime history, and heartfelt contemporary drama, this month’s lineup spans eras, genres, and continents.

Some of our featured November additions include:
In The Trenches A gritty and intimate portrait of life lived on society’s margins, following those doing it tough in rural and regional Australia. This documentary offers an unvarnished look at resilience, hardship, and community spirit in places often left out of the national conversation.

Whakapapa of a Māori Phrase Book : A warm and insightful New Zealand documentary tracing the story behind a much-loved Māori language resource. Blending personal history, cultural pride, and linguistic revival, it celebrates the people and kaupapa that helped bring te reo Māori into everyday life.

The Long and Short of Firearms - Part 2 The Addendum: answers viewer questions from Part 1 while preserving endangered knowledge from Australia's last bushmen. Through intimate conversations with elderly experts, the film explores: why Australian bushmen were exceptional judges of distance and much more.

Wild Tech – Conservation Through Advanced Technology
: A fascinating look at how drones, satellites, sensors, and AI are transforming the way we protect wildlife and ecosystems. From remote monitoring to data-driven decision-making, this documentary reveals how cutting-edge tech is giving conservationists powerful new tools.

Gravel Road: A heartfelt road movie following a remote Indigenous rock band as they travel thousands of kilometres across the Australian desert to play music for their communities. It’s a moving celebration of culture, country, and the joy of performing against all odds.

Wildlife in Windmill Country: Set against the striking landscapes of modern wind farms, this film explores how wildlife adapts to and is affected by renewable energy infrastructure. Beautifully shot and quietly thought-provoking, it invites viewers to consider the balance between green power and biodiversity.

A Farewell to Arms: Classic cinema fans can also discover  Academy Award-winning Hollywood classics like A Farewell to Arms and Seventh Heaven and timeless titles like Dante’s Inferno bringing literary and romantic drama to life for worldwide audiences.
