“Fairless” is the story of one of Australia’s unsung cycling champions – Steve Fairless, who retired at 26. But at 50, he made an astonishing comeback that shook the cycling world.
Stephen (Steve) Fairless represented Australia at the Seoul Olympics in 1988, in road cycling. Then, he retired at 26 to return to dairy farming to support his young family. But he still dreamed of cycling, and at fifty, he made his comeback – becoming not only one of the best Australian cyclists for his age, but one of the best overall. “Fairless” follows Steve through his comeback and to the ultimate proving ground for cyclists the world over – the 2014 UCI World Masters Championships.
It’s the ultimate film for all cycling lovers.
