In this astonishingly candid documentary, wealthy Hong Kong entrepreneur VINCENT LEE opens up his world of influence, his successful business strategies, his dilemmas and his fears. He takes us with him on his emotional journey during the former colony’s historic reunification with China. We then travel China with Vincent and his partner MART BAKAL, a millionaire New York banker with global know-‐how (and a fine sense of comic timing). “The odd couple” as Vincent calls them, are on a quest to make their fortunes by snapping up cheaply the perfect run-‐down state-‐owned enterprises. But it doesn’t go as planned…In Beijing and Shenyang we see Vincent’s cultural skills playing against Mart’s North American idiosyncrasies. And throughout their quest, Vincent – like Hamlet the Prince of Denmark – has the long shadow of his famous father looming over him.
